a true DK weight yarn that has a WHOPPING 280yards per 100g (approximately). It’s a 2-ply yarn spun from 100% American Rambouillet (non-superwash). It’s SOFT, it’s BOUNCY, and it has so much character and dimension in so many ways. It’s been spun AND dyed at a small mill in Michigan by Nicole from @coyoterunfiberworks . Because it comes from a small mill, AND because it’s a 2-ply, the yarn isn’t *perfectly* consistent, but the little inconsistencies here and there make it SO charming. 2-ply yarns are typically a bit softer and less consistent than 4-ply yarns (you’re getting more of the life, texture, and character from the fiber showing through with the less plies you have), and the stitches melt together in such a cozy and beautiful way in the finished fabric.

Moonlight Reverie - this colorway was designed by me, but was dyed by Nicole at the mill. We’ve taken 3 individual colors from the Dark Academia collection (Inkwell, Tailored Thesis, and Botanist’s Memory), and carded them together before spinning - giving you a beautifully heathered yarn that looks like a tonal from far away, but has all the dimension of those three colors come to life when you get close. She’s STUNNING, and pairs so well with so many of the Dark Academia colors 😍
